HE
Higher Education - after school education at colleges, universities, junior or community colleges, professional schools, technical institutes, and teacher-training schools.

Hectare (Ha)
A unit of area equal to 2.471 acres.

Heritage
Things from the past, such as buildings or works of art and literature, or the natural environment, considered as an inheritance for today's population.

Holistic
Considering something as a whole, which is more than just the sum of its parts.

Homophobia
A strong hatred or fear of homosexuality and homosexual people.

Housing Register
A register of people who want social housing, which is available from one of the housing associations in West Berkshire.
